Grantsville, Utah · Tooele County and four counties past it

Pick a
door.

Four ways in. None of them ends with a stranger calling you at dinner. I’m a REALTOR® in Tooele County — twenty-seven years in uniform before this, twenty of them as a Salt Lake County corrections officer. I teach people how to buy and sell houses. The hiring-me part is optional.

The short version of my whole pitch

Here’s what I won’t do.

Every agent’s website lists what they’ll do for you, and that list is identical across the entire state. This one isn’t — and it’s a much faster way to find out whether you and I would get along.

  1. 01

I don't cold call, and I don't knock on doors.

Twenty years in corrections and two tours in Iraq — I've knocked on enough doors nobody wanted opened. If we meet, it'll be because you came to something or somebody sent you, not because I bought your phone number off a list.

  2. 02

I don't dance on the internet.

No trending audio, no pointing at floating text, no lip-syncing in front of a house I didn't sell. I'll be dry before I'll be embarrassing. You're choosing somebody to handle the largest transaction of your life; the audition should probably reflect that.

  3. 03

I don't tell you what you want to hear.

If your price is wrong I'll say so at the kitchen table, not three months into a stale listing. If the house you fell in love with has a problem, I'd rather lose the commission than watch you inherit it. Some people hate this. Those people hire somebody else, and that's genuinely fine.

  4. 04

    I don't chase people.

My pension covers my bills. Real estate isn't how I eat — which means I can give you the honest answer and then let you go think about it. No follow-up sequence, no manufactured deadline, nobody telling you this one won't last.

Who’s asking

Two careers, one zip code.

I grew up in Tooele County, left for the Marine Corps out of high school, and spent the next twenty-seven years in uniform — active duty first, then twenty-three in the Utah Army National Guard, with two deployments to Iraq in the middle of it.

Alongside that I put in twenty years as a corrections officer with the Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and retired out of it. Which is a long way of saying I’ve spent my whole working life around people on the worst day of theirs, and I learned to tell them the truth calmly. Turns out that’s most of this job too.

I moved back to Grantsville in 2014 and got licensed in 2019. I’m a Military Relocation Professional, which mostly means I know what a VA loan actually does and what a set of orders does to a closing date. My clients are veterans, active military, cops, firefighters, medics, and first-time buyers who are tired of being talked down to. That’s not a niche I picked off a list. That’s just my life.

Where I work

Five counties. One of them I could drive blindfolded.

Tooele, Erda, Stansbury Park, Lake Point, Grantsville — that’s the home field, and I know which streets flood and which ones don’t. The other four I work when it makes sense for you. Past that I’ll hand you to somebody who actually knows the neighborhood, because pretending otherwise is how people overpay.

Door number three

Come eat something.

I used to host dinner twice a month and I’m starting that back up. No presentation, no name tags, nobody working the room. You come, you eat, you argue about something, you go home. If real estate comes up it’s because you brought it up.

No photo gallery here yet. That’s what it looks like when somebody’s actually just starting, instead of recycling pictures from 2019. Check back after the first one.

The first one is being scheduled now, in Grantsville. There’ll be a standing table for veterans and first responders once it goes well.

What’s on the calendar

Or skip all four doors

Just call me.

That’s my actual phone number, not a call center. I answer it, or I call you back the same day. Ask me anything you want — you don’t end up on a list for calling, and there’s no next step unless you ask for one.
